Hua was originally founded by Hong Kong-born Shanyan Koder.
Shanyan developed a passion for fine art from a young age. Coming from a family of collectors, Shanyan has collected with her family as well as built her own private collection over the last two decades.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Dagmar lived in China for several years where she connected with artists of international reputation. Dagmar is founder of Crysalis, a bespoke art consultancy curating exhibitions for galleries and museums and building private collections.
