Abstract Moods

Various Artists · 10 July 2012 to 14 September 2012

Hua Gallery is pleased to present Abstract Moods, an exhibition featuring the works of five Chinese contemporary artists. While traditional works of Chinese art are primarily ink paintings, this exhibition explores a new generation of Chinese artists who are influenced by Western movements. Employing use of materials such as acrylic and oil on canvas and video, the artists create intense and intriguing scenes as methods to express themselves. Along with conveying their inner moods, these works also express the spiritual conflicts that the artists have experienced throughout their creative processes.
